Rather Stay In Bed

There’s not many things better than laying in bed listening to the rain outside.

Especially on a long weekend.

Ok, well maybe there’s a ton of things better.

But you get the point I’m sure.

Yep. I would’ve rather hit the snooze and drift back to sleep this morning too.

Especially after spending an hour or so laying awake in the ungodly hours with random useless stuff running through my head.

Don’t you hate that.

Lucky that I don’t have insomina though like some and that is a rare thing.

But sometimes you just can’t be bothered.

I get it.

However, here’s the deal.

Nothing changes unless you change.

So if you struggle getting up in the morning at the best of times – let alone when it’s pouring down outside – here’s something that just might work.

And no, it’s not the usual go to bed earlier the night before drill.

The only way I get up at 4:30 in the morning is because as soon as that alarm goes off I don’t debate about whether it may be a good idea to get up – I just get up without thinking.

Like my bodies on autopilot or something – before I get a chance to wake up and think that maybe it isn’t such a good idea.

Maybe it’ll work for you.

Maybe it won’t.

But like I said earlier nothing changes unless you do.

The main thing is to acknowledge the issue. Rather than dance around it.

It doesn’t matter what time the alarm is set for. 4:30 is a sleep in for some people. For me it’s early. Your you it may be silly.

But it is what it is.

?Same as your alarm time.

Food for thought?
