The Best Post Workout Drink Ever?

Probably a big call but I’m going out on a limb with this one.

Yesterday I had something after my workout that I just had to share with you.

Cause it was a bit of this and a bit of that but I can tell you one thing:

It tasted friggen awesome and would have to be in the grand final of the worlds best ever post workout drink.

I’m not really a big fan of recipes myself, more so just like to throw a bit of this and a bit of that in.

Sometimes it’s a hit.

Sometimes it’s a miss.

Think I got that habit from my Dad.

I still remember one night as a kid he ruined my favourite spaghetti bolognese meal by changing the tomato sauce to a curry sauce that he whipped up.

Lets just say it wasn’t a hit.

Thanks Dad.

One other winner that I’ve had was my Spicy Vego Salad that you get as part of the Quick Healthy Meals Cookbook when you join Team DPM.

Yes it even makes eating vego sound appealing for a meal!

So what was this great discovery?


1) 2 shots of espresso

2) 2 tablespoons of vanilla protein powder (I use Teresa Cutters Healthy Chef pea protein brand)

3) Frozen berries – I just threw a bunch in

4) Coconut water – same here I just poured a bit in

Blended it up.

And Wooshka.

Tasted amazing.

So there you go – it filled a hole and tasted pretty damn awesome in the mean time.
