What Can You Learn From This Hooker?

I bet you’re thinking you’re probably not going to learn much from a hooker right?

Well you might be surprised.

Came across this article the other day showing how Waratahs hooker Tolu Latu really turned around his game this season.

(yes, a rugby hooker – not that type of hooker)

Despite common opinion that footy players are all muppets (just some of them fit that bill) he is spot on with this little reveal.

He revealed a secret to what has led to his game really stepping up a notch.

And while the secret may not be anything game changing for you.

The plain and simple truth is – it works.

As much as for you and me as it does for professional rugby players.

Maybe even the other variety of hookers too.

But who am I to judge.

The little insight was he stopped eating all the crap that young blokes usually eat and focused on eating more clean food – especially upping his fresh veggies intake.

You might in fact think that it’s pretty simple and obvious.

But if that’s you – take a step back and think for a minute:

How much crap do I actually eat over the course of each week right now?

How many more veggies should I be eating each week?

What could that actually mean to me, and my results if I did this exact thing starting today?

But either way, the take home message is – up your veggies.

Do you really think that it is just going to work for rugby players because of the amount of training they do?
